Accessibility

This demo site is built to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or reduced-motion settings. The target is WCAG 2.1 AA.

What this site does

• Text colours are checked against their backgrounds to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
• Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• A skip link jumps keyboard users past the video hero straight to the content.
• The hero video is muted, contains no speech or essential information that is not also in the page text, and the headline and buttons never depend on the video playing — they appear even if the video fails.
• Decorative motion (the neon flicker, the scrolling ticker, the video transition) is switched off when your system asks for reduced motion.
• Images of tattoo work carry text descriptions; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• The page uses semantic landmarks and a logical heading order.

Known limitations

This is a demonstration concept. The background video cannot currently be paused with an on-screen control; it plays once, silently, and stops on a still image within about twelve seconds. A production build would add a pause control.
